But while authentic woolen Scottish tweeds are wonderful, this Japan-woven tweed is crafted from 100% cotton and fairs far better for shirting. Soft to the touch and with a hefty drape, it still looks the part, but without the woolen itch.
Woven with tonal orange, green, and purple yarns atop deep heather greys, this tweed reinterprets a simplified check pattern with a colorful twist. Large gauge mélange blended 2-ply yarns add heft and warmth, while a three-step brushing process increases insulation, softness, and helps add that signature tweed texture.
